Most guayaberas above 2XL are wider, plainer and cheaper-looking than the rest of the range. Ours are not: the 4XL carries the same hand-made pleats, the same mother-of-pearl buttons and the same 100% linen body as every other size, at the same price.
And when the chart still does not work — long torso, broad shoulders, a chest that never matches the sleeve — the shirt is simply cut to your measurements instead. Made to measure is included, not an upgrade.

Big and tall questions
- Do you make guayaberas in 3XL and 4XL?
- Yes. Every piece in the collection is offered from S through 4XL, in the same cloth and the same cut as the smaller sizes — no separate, plainer 'big men' version.
- What if 4XL still does not fit?
- Then the shirt is cut to your measurements instead of to a size, and made to measure is included at no extra cost. You send chest, waist, hip, shoulder, sleeve and length, and the atelier cuts to those numbers.
- How should a big and tall guayabera fit?
- A guayabera is worn untucked, so the two decisions that matter are the chest, which should close without pulling at the buttons, and the length, which should fall roughly to mid-fly. Made to measure exists precisely so tall men are not forced into a shirt that is wide but short.
- Is linen a good choice for a larger build?
- It is the best of the natural options. Linen drapes away from the body rather than clinging, and it moves air, so it stays cooler and reads slimmer than a heavier cotton shirt in the same size.
- Do bigger sizes cost more?
- No. A 4XL is the same price as a small, and made to measure carries no surcharge either. Prices are $200 USD for linen-blend pieces and $300 USD for 100% linen.
- How long does a made-to-measure shirt take?
- 3 to 5 business days in the atelier once your measurements are confirmed, then tracked international shipping of 7 to 15 business days.
